Sunday Confessions - Sunday February 27

This weeks confession asks " Are you a moody reader?"

I will admit that I am a moody reader - I am a moody person basically, but I am also very hard on myself about discipline and doing things in the right time.  So I am strict about finishing books that I start and about reading when it is time to read.  Even though I love to read therefore, reading is not always a pleasure.

Sunday Confessions

Sunday Confessions is a weekly meme started by "to Read or not to Read".  THis weeks question is ...

What do you love most about reading?

I suppose what I love most about reading is that it is a solitary activity.  I can do it on my own - I don't need anyone else and just as importantly I can do it anywhere.  The advent of ebooks and kindles etc allows my books to be always with me. No more leaveing hte house only to realise that i have forgotten my book.

Sunday Confessions

This week's question is "How do you arrange your bookshelves.

My bookshelves are packed way to tightly to have any real organisation but if I think back to when we were first packing them we packed them by author in alphabetical order.  So some of the books which have not moved are still in that order but the newer ones are in no order at all.  They just find a spot wherever they can.

Sunday Confessions

I am a little late with this one as it is Tuesday already but Marcie at "To Read or Not to Read" has hosted this lovely little meme with a great button.

This Sunday's question is "Do you need silence to read?"

My answer is no.  I can read anywhere in the car with my children fussing around me - once I am not driving.  I can read at the doctor's office with the television blaring.  Once the book is interesting enough the noise will not bother me.

Bookscount quote of the week!

" A good book has no ending."
